I started planting corn on April 6. The week of April 13 was our biggest week for planting, as Justin also started with soybeans. Planting has progressed fairly well despite wet conditions. We have been able to find dry places to plant. However, there are still places way too wet to do field work. Uncle Danny has been doing great with the field work, and Dad continues to do the morning feeding and keeping the rest of us in line! Spring is a time of renewal, and we are thankful for a good planting season thus far. Ida is turning one next month, and Lydia’s family came home to celebrate last weekend.
